Liena Vayzman is a visual artist and art historian specializing in Art of the 20th and 21st Centuries and Histories of Photography. She earned the Post-Diplome (MFA equivalent) at Ecole Regionale des Beaux-Arts de Nantes, France and an MA and PhD in History of Art at Yale University, completing her PhD dissertation on the Self Portraits of Claude Cahun. Liena Vayzman is Assistant Professor in the Fine Arts Program, Humanities Department at LaGuardia Community College, The City University of New York.
